Competitive Lead Times
The lead time that we quote to you is based upon the component parts and manufacturing process of the item that we are quoting. Our quoting system determines your lead time using the same logic that our production planning system uses. When your order is put into production, there are no lead time surprises. With Patz Contract Manufacturing, you can confidently plan your production or shipments based upon the competitive lead time that we quote.
We also offer our customers the ability to shorten the lead time by making use of a Just-In-Time or Kanban inventory replenishment system. Under one of these systems, we can offer immediate shipment of your product.
On-Time Deliveries
Competitive lead times mean nothing without on-time deliveries. At Patz Contract Manufacturing, we do many things to ensure on-time deliveries to our customers: 1) We quote you a lead time based upon the same logic that our production planning system uses. 2) We utilize an online shop floor control system to track inventory and production. Because of this, we know the production status of your product at any given moment and can make corrections as necessary. 3) We practice a quality system that eliminates common rejects and reduces the likelihood that nonconforming product passes on to a secondary process or to finished goods inventory. 4) We perform preventative maintenance on all of our production equipment, which virtually eliminates unplanned equipment down time. 5) We have backup equipment for some of our most critical production equipment. 6) We use qualified suppliers of raw materials and standard parts that have a history of making on-time deliveries. 7) We employ knowledgeable and experienced staff. 8) We manage production staffing carefully and make use of additional production shifts and overtime as necessary. 9) Patz Trucking Services are available for pick up and delivery of products.
